Third week in July already!

More hot days, garden is getting along, picked more spinach today, strawberries nearly gone, pie cherries coming on & unfortunately, I think the beans have common mosaic virus.
I went to my spinner's group today; we had a weaver talk about her work and show those who weave some tips to help improve their work. We had our usual great potluck, too. I started a pair of socks for me: the pattern is Cubist by Cookie A and I'm using Maizey yarn from Crystal Palace Yarns. I am finding the yarn a bit splitty, but it is soft and comfortable to knit with on the dpns. Picture below.

I have been doing a little bit of spinning each day, but forgot to take pictures, so here is one of the latest work.
