& I'm nearly dead, LOL. I worked on it all day today and my body is letting me know now that I over-did it "just a wee bit". I put plywood on the walls, started to put the roofing tiles on the outside, but ran out of nails, so will have to wait until I can get some more. I made the door and attached the hinges to it; I'm waiting to attach hinges to the house itself until I have the "siding" on. Then I need to build the pen and I'll be ready for "chickles". I am also going to build a "chicken tractor" so they can go out into the yard for some greens.
Tomorrow I have to work at the fair selling tickets for our quilt group's yearly raffle quilt. It's an easy job and when I'm done, 'tP' and I will "do the fair". We like to look at everything and then go get some "fair food" - not good for you, of course, but once a year won't kill us, right?
Then on Sunday after church I'll have to get busy and finish up a whole bunch of veggies that are coming to the end of their tour in the garden - it's that time of the year.

The Clearwater County Fair in Orofino is this weekend as well. I haven't been in years -- and we never ate the food. We ate at home.
It's just awesome that you built a chicken house. I'm impressed.
How did the quilt raffle go?
We raffle tickets all year until our quilt show in the spring - this is how we make money for our group and for our charity endeavors. We did pretty well yesterday and I expect will do so over the whole fair. People around here are generally excited about this type of needle arts.
