And now it melts

It's above freezing and the snow is slowly going away.  The chickie-doodlers wanted to go out even if there is snow still most everywhere - they like it when the sun is out.

Here's a photo of a little quilt project I finished last night.  The wall hanging is called "Snow Folks" - it was paper pieced, then embroidered & embellished with some sparkly floss, bead (coal) eyes, a bird button & a bird applique.  The pattern had been in my stash since 1998, so it's one of the old ones I'm starting to use.
