Well, one thing I got finished was spraying for aphids. I generally do not use chemicals on my plants, but there are so many aphids on the plum trees that the poor things have shrivelled leaves and there is that sticky aphid dew everywhere. I do not want aphids on any of my vegetables so figured I'd attack before they shifted from the trees.
I also finished up weeding & raking the corn patch after the weed whacking & roto-tilling. There were many cut off weed & sunflower stalks that were not tilled in and had to be pulled by hand. But when the corn seed has germinated the ground is ready to go.
I hope to be able to work a bit on quilts today, too.
