to get back to normal.
We were camping for 3 days & came home yesterday.
We had a good time with our whole immediate family coming up to our campsite for a wonderful meal on Saturday. We got to meet our "new grandson" and our "step daughter" too. One can't have too much family.
It is still hot and uncomfortable here, so so dry as to be very scarey. It has caused much concern in our part of the world.
I picked some beans & beets today - canned the beans, along with some my son gave me and got 4 pints. The beets will be for eating right away though - we love fresh beets. Well, we love beets no matter what, but fresh are absolute best !
